~Primitive Country~

A lot of people have asked me what we are redecorating in and its called "Primitive Country". I was inspired after seeing my sister's houses and my mom's house on my visit to TN. It will be a while before I get the living room, dining room and kitchen done and then the rest of the house will probably be a year from now LOL. I'm taking money I saved and taking some items I already had and painting them. We also are just slipcovering our sofa and wing chairs to cut costs as well. I'm using the money I'm saving from my grocery budget! ; ) Hubby might give me some too for the house......and of course money I'm making from my virtual yard sale selling my old decor, Paris Chic/Shabby Chic.

Here is a picture of the style to give you a better idea:

I love it Sis!
I love the Americana / Homespun / Rustic home decor things. Love it, love it, love it! And the Christmas stuff is..just...well let's just say when I see stuff like that, I need to hide the credit card because I will buy it all :) Like today, DH and I went to another Army base and went to the craft store on there and they had all the Americana Christmas stuff there and my eyes lit up really big and the wheels in my head began spinning :) Believe it or not, I walked out with nothing :)

God Bless You!

Thanks for your comment Katy and I hope to post pics as soon as it starts all matching in here lol. I'm waiting on my sofa and wing chair slipcovers and then some pillows, etc. It will take a while to do each of the rooms!

Am anxious to see your pictures!! I like that look also. Our home style is rustic, not in a primitive way, but more western flavor.

Blessings,
Paula
