Yard

Why all summer long our yard was brown looking, with bare patches and NOW that it is towards the end of October and getting cold it is finally green and even the bare patches have started growing new grass??!!! I don't get it lol. The bark with the shrubs (newly planted some of them) is the front yard.......we have the grass in the back:

I also took my garden plants (tomato, pepper, squash, cucumber) up by the roots and threw those away and keeping the soil for next year's garden! I have a lot of tomatoes that didn't turn, so I put them in a cardboard box to ripen and then going to be making a HUGE batch of salsa this week.
So ends the first year of my "garden" experience and I love it and now hooked and can't wait to garden again next year and may add some more vegetables!
