Update

Update on my pregnancy, baby is doing good as far as we know and I'm not having any more problems, just the usual "good" signs of pregnancy - fatigue and nausea! Thank you for the prayers and please keep praying that all will be well with me and the baby, thanks! :)

22 Christian Missionaries Executed in Afghanistan HOAX

If you received the text that claims that 22 Christian missionaries are going to be executed in Afghanistan today and to pray, it has been reported that this is a hoax. When you go to google the story, one of the top google searches is a website that if you click on it it can wipe out your computer in a sense as it is an attack website.

If this was real, I'm sure we would have seen a news story about, instead of rumors of it spreading like wildfire in text messages. One person even said on a christian forum "what would a Christian missionary be doing in Afghanistan right now anyway? It's a war zone" I prayed as I received 3 texts, even though it is a hoax, it never hurts to pray for missionaries! ; )

Pray for our missionaries below (you can go to the link and see the info and names to pray for!) I encourage all to keep our missionaries in prayer daily!

*Links no longer work since the church updated their website, but here are the locations outside of the US that we have an NTCC:

This is so important praying for our missionaries. My Pre-Teen Sunday School Class collected all kinds of goodies to send to them. They have enjoyed learning about the sacrifices of those in other countries.

Thanks for the heads up about the attack website linked to this story.

I had worked out it was a hoax but that added dimension is a concern.

Your welcome Lee, glad I could help.

Right I got the same notice and pegged it as a hoax. But as a former missionary myself, I know first hand that the missionaries would covet our prayers!

Hello,
I have a Prayer request for you and your readers.
Hello Brother/Sister in Christ.

Please support me in Prayer for my next Mission trip to Punjab India.
It will be in September/October for 6 weeks.
I am Leading a Team of 6 with me for the first time, I have been on my own 3 times in the past, but The Lord has bigger plans for September.
I have been to Albania twice on mission as part of a team but never leading.
We will be working in the Slums and Shanty towns providing, food, blankets, other essentials and The Gospel.
Please pray for our finances, smooth organization and preparation, traveling mercies, team love and Unity, wisdom and knowledge and God's Grace.
Please pray for my anxiety which i am struggling with and Please pray for my Marriage to Simon.
Please pray for the charity I am trying to set up called PASSION FOR PEOPLE it is for the mission work we do in India helping the poor and needy in the slums.
God Bless You for your Kindness and Prayers and for the work you do to lift up the name of Jesus.
Your Sister in Christ
