Update

Update on my pregnancy, baby is doing good as far as we know and I'm not having any more problems, just the usual "good" signs of pregnancy - fatigue and nausea! Thank you for the prayers and please keep praying that all will be well with me and the baby, thanks! :)

Play Area

Here is what I have done so far with a section of our spare bedroom for my daughter's toys.  On the other side of the door (not pictured) is her dollhouse.

I had the wire rack in my dining room during Christmas to hold all my Christmas dishes, etc but didn't really need it anymore so moved into the spare bedroom.  I think for now it makes a good place to hold her "bulky" toys.  Then I have had the plastic storage drawer container for years.  It works well for my daughter!  The first drawer is all her doll house things, second drawer is her railroad tracks and accessories and the bottom drawer is all her ponies.  The reason I put these in the storage drawers is because I can not STAND to see all those little pieces/accessories all over the place.  Now when she is done playing with them, she quickly just throws them back in the appropriate drawer and it is a fast clean up!  ; )

I have been doing LOTS of research for her room and have some wonderful ideas and will be sharing those in the future!  I won't be able to purchase the organization things I have found until Summer, but I will have it all planned out by then!  Thanks for all the ideas, I will putting some of them to use.

Whatever it takes....I wish I had learned more organizational skills as a child and that my parents had inforced them...I probably would be so disorganized today...but there is always HOPE, right...good job Bev....hope Cindy is doing better.

Boy, I really need to clean up our play area. It's a disaster zone for sure. I'm not good at organizing. You've done a lovely job on the room for your daughter!

It doesn't stay this way lol. Like for instance tonight, she had legos all over the place, and toys everywhere and then her room, she has pulled things off the shelf. But she is old enough now to clean up her room by herself and she does a good job!
