Teacher of the Year Beats Student

A 40 year old, two-time "Teacher of the Year" science teacher, claims her emotions got the best of her and she couldn't seem to stop herself from beating this 6th grade boy till he was bruised and black-eyed.  I'm at a loss for words.......

Seen this on the news earlier today. Terrible, just terrible. So upsetting and disgusting.
Soooo glad I homeschool my child.

If I was to make a list of the benefits of homeschooling, it would go on for pages! No wonder there are books on the subject lol. The pros far outweigh the cons that's for sure!

Ok I am all for homeschooling. But my question is how in the world did they get a video of this right at the time it happened. Someone had to of been right there with a video when it happened and that is usually not the case. I just don't understand how they got this on tape like that unless it was a repeat. This is so crazy. And a teacher there in jeans at that. When I was in school a teacher dressed professionally. I bet she won't be teacher of the year any more. At least I hope not.

A student had a cell phone and shot this. The teacher did get fired and yes I was wondering about the "dress" or lack thereof as well.

I saw this on Fox news...it makes me absolutely sick!!!! That is just awful! And the teacher looks like a 16 yr old teenager!

It hurts my heart for that student...and the students that watched that take place! :(
