I've been sick with pharyngitis for over a week now, it is still lingering, so I haven't felt up to gathering my thoughts to post on here yet. Today, I feel almost back to "normal," and I've also been doing one of those "Day in the Life of......" diaries. So that is one thing that is coming up and I'm also beginning the planning for my next 3-month freezer cooking cycle that starts in a little over 2 weeks. My goal is to have time to video or post about it, but that was also my goal last cycle and it didn't happen due to time restraints. So we will see how this one goes. Seeing how I only do them 4 times a year now, my next opportunity to document the process won't be until June.
I saw the interest in more posts on marriage and/or being a wife and hope to write up some posts on that eventually. I can say that I've learned a lot of things over the years that would be valuable to someone maybe in those first ten years of marriage. I look at being a wife as something that is done out of pure love for God and your husband and that should be your motivation for all you do. If there isn't love - it is just a duty and your husband will feel the lack of your love. Anyway, getting ahead of myself here lol.
I do want to do more posts on frugality but I feel like there isn't much left to say as I've shared so many things over the years but I will see what I can come up with. We have increased our food budget slightly since switching to only organic meat and cheese, so I may post on eating organic on a budget.
I haven't done a hair post in a long time, probably because I haven't been preoccupied with my hair since it has been in great condition the past year or so. Growing out the perm was the hard part and that finished last year I think it was, now it is just......well....growing lol! It is longer and I'm starting to sit on it, so I will have to get out the measuring tape and see how much it has grown since the last time I did a hair post. I rarely curl it anymore and if I do it is normally not with heat but water and sponge rollers or most recently, I used knee-hi's and it came out nice!
I sure would love to blog on Santorum as he is my pick, love his education views, birth control views and just about everything he says! To have a homeschooling dad as President would just overjoy my soul - what a role model. Anyway.....I keep praying, please don't let it be Romney lol - I just don't trust the guy but then again he is an excellent speaker and debater. Speaking of Santorum and birth control, there are so many things I would love to blog about on that issue, one I'm so passionate about because so many "Christians" have it all wrong these days but........
Until I have another time slot to post, there is a preview of what I'm planning! ;-)
