$100 a Month Grocery Challenge - Not Working!

I suppose if I wasn't pregnant this would be doable lol.  However, I've been unable to make my homemade snacks and goodies this past week because of various pregnancy-related issues and we ended up having to buy snacks and goodies.  I also couldn't stand to think of eating lasagna this weekend, so we ate out.  With my cravings and aversions, it just isn't working.  I think we have now spent $100 already and I will still have to buy milk, bananas and salad in another week and will go over too much.  Seeing how I went through about 3 - 1/2 gallons of milk in just a few days - pregnancy is not the time to cut back on groceries!

Don't give up! Maybe you will feel better once you hit the second trimester... I know pregnancy is a tough time to cut back on groceries and make everything, but you just do the best you can and trust God to do the rest!

Well, tomorrow starts my 2nd trimester but my appetite has only increased the past 2 weeks LOL. I was doing good the first few months and losing weight because I didn't really eat a lot but now I'm like a monster and always hungry haha. =0 I do miss my homemade snacks though but I woke up with a sore throat, cold and body aches today - so nothing cooking out of my kitchen today lol!
