2013 Goals

This year is one that is met with some challenges.  One being a newborn, the other homeschooling WITH a newborn!  I would have to say my word for this year is - Adapt.  I resolve to adapt to this new addition to our family that is extremely needy at the moment, limits my sleep and tests my patience.  Homeschooling along with keeping the home and all that entails was enough challenge for me already, so I can only imagine the challenge that is awaiting me this year with doing all the above and raising a baby.

I plan to hit the floor running as soon as I'm fully recovered from the c-section.  It is slow-going now thanks to my inner superwoman who thought she was ready to lift around laundry and clean house upon coming home from the hospital and now is having to sit around resting because of risk of her incision opening at 5wks post-op!  Lesson learned....so, my recovery is a bit delayed a few more weeks but when I am recovered......watch out world, here I come!!  My engines are raring to go and clean this house, organize, homeschool, do my garden and just live life with zest!  Being on bed rest off and on since September has really made me loathe sitting around, so I aim to get up and go when my body lets me.

My prayer for this year is that it will be one that is productive, inspiring to others, full of spiritual growth and the year I return to full health in weight, body and mind!
