Zach's Room

We finally got some things cleared out to start on Zach's room.  I only finished a section of the room and used the crib quilt as a wall hanging, since I don't put blankets in his crib when he sleeps - he sleeps in a sleep sack.  My hope chest will not be staying in there by the window, but it currently has no home in the house.  The giraffe chair was bought at a yard sale a few years ago for my daughter for $5 - so glad I saved it, it fits perfectly in Zach's room!

Good job, it looks wonderful! :-) I use baby quilts for wall hangings, as well.

It's adorable! The giraffe chair matches perfectly and it's so nice & uncluttered. Did you make the green curtains yourself?

Glad I'm not alone, thanks Joyful!

Megan - no I didn't make the curtains, I got them for $30 I think it was. They are the thermal-back, room-darkening curtains, because Zach's room is the coldest in the house for some reason, they help block out the cold from the window. They also block the sun during the day because his room is also the brightest in the house. I was so glad to have found them and they match great!

Tealady - they say it is funner with grandchildren because you can send them back home when they get whiney haha. :-)

Thanks Tricia! :) I got the bed set for $35 on sale when I was pregnant and it came with everything, even the wall hangings.
