Myth of The Good Old Days - Video
This is so true! We have so much more today and we have lost our minds of what basic needs are. This was such a good video full of facts that I had to share despite there being a curse word in it. There are MANY families making it one income. I see all the time that ONE individual claims they can't make it on an income that families with kids are making it on.
I especially loved the chart of data that shows we spend less of our income on food, housing and clothing now than at any other time! We have so much more disposable income for wants like electronics, subscriptions, eating out, luxury food items, coffee, name brands, multiple pairs of shoes, a closet full of clothing, vehicles, vacations.... STUFF. Be thankful and you will find that life is much better.
