I was told I was sterile most likely and unable to have children. God chose to open my womb and heal me and I was able to have our daughter, who is now 4. I'm praying for the same touch this time around and I also want twins. They only run in my husband's family but I believe IF it is the will of God that he will give us those twins or if for some reason he knows I can't handle it....we will just get one lol. ;)
I planned my pregnancy with my first child and I had charts of my daily temperature, cycles and I knew the exact 3-day period that I ovulated. The first time we tried, we got pregnant! That is what I'm hoping this time......that through planning we can conceive upon the first try.
I believe God has called us to be wise in everything we do! This comes to childbearing as well. I'm not of the belief that you just have them whenever. I believe that just like most things in God, planning is wise, especially when it comes to your health and the child's. Here are some other reasons why planning is good here:
This summer; the next 3 months, I will be getting several tests done. First is to check my liver. God healed me of a liver disease I've had for years but I've never had the ultrasound to prove it. I no longer suffer from the pain from it, but then again I never had the test to "prove" it was gone. I must do this before conceiving, so that is on my list.
Also a dental checkup to make sure my teeth are ok and all is well there. I need to stop drinking coffee, this I KNOW......because caffeine also lowers your egg (and sperm for males) count and can reduce your fertility. That will be hard to cut out caffeine but I will be ok..I hope haha.
I'm also starting a vitamin regime early on, that of course includes folic acid. This along with a healthy diet and reduction in fat in my body will put me at a healthier state by the end of summer ready to conceive what God has in store for us!
